Blue Dog ("we", "our", or "the App") collects information to provide better route intelligence for heavy vehicles. The types of data we collect include:

Account Data: Email address and password (managed securely via Supabase Auth).
Location Data: GPS coordinates while you are using the App to calculate your position on the route and show nearby hazards.
User-Generated Data: Hazard reports, fuel price submissions, and vehicle compliance data (such as pre-start checks).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data to:

Display your location on the map and calculate routes.
Alert you to hazards and closures ahead of you.
Store your compliance records so they can be accessed across devices.
Improve the overall quality of the road data (e.g., crowdsourced hazard confirmations).

3. Third-Party Data (Government Feeds)

Blue Dog ingests fuel prices and traffic incident data from official state government APIs (including TfNSW, Main Roads WA, QLDTraffic, SA DIT, and NT Government). No personal user data is sent to these agencies.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
